What is GEO50?

GEO50 is an AI brand ranking platform built on real AI answers. It helps businesses compare how AI recommends brands and competitors within a selected category, market, language and set of platforms.

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It focuses on how brands and content are understood, mentioned or cited in AI-generated answers. SEO focuses on visibility in traditional search results. Both depend on accessible pages, clear content and reliable sources, but they measure different outcomes.

How does GEO50 produce AI brand rankings?

GEO50 samples real AI answers for your selected category, market, answer language and platforms, then identifies brands and compares their recommendation performance. Rankings are shown after sampling and scoring are complete. Each result reflects the conditions and time of that observation.

Which AI platforms and markets can I compare?

The public ranking service is still in preparation. Platform, market and language availability will be confirmed at launch. Tell us which ones matter to your business in the pre-launch survey.

Why might my own AI search give a different answer?

Question wording, platform versions, timing, language, location and personal account context can all affect AI answers. Responses can also vary when the same question is repeated. GEO50 uses multiple sampled answers to compare brands under defined conditions; a single manual query may not reproduce the same result.

What do the rankings and scores actually measure?

They summarize brand recommendation performance in the AI answers sampled for that observation. Read them alongside the category, platforms, market, language, sample size and date. They do not measure product quality, website traffic or sales. GEO50 does not show positions or scores while sampling or scoring is incomplete.

Can GEO50 guarantee that AI will recommend my brand?

No. GEO50 measures sampled recommendation performance to help you understand your position relative to competitors and identify areas to investigate. AI platforms determine their own answers. Clear content, reliable evidence and accessible pages support GEO work, but do not guarantee mentions, citations or ranking improvements.

How do I get started with GEO50?
